The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raza throws a body kick that misses.
Marshall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Marshall rushes Raza and presses him up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Marshall.
Marshall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Raza blocks an elbow strike from Marshall.
Raza throws a head punch that misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marshall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Raza tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Raza dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marshall. That did some damage!
A low kick from Raza is predictable there

and Marshall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Marshall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marshall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Raza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Marshall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marshall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marshall cracks Raza with a solid left hand.

Marshall lands a couple of digs.
Raza might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Marshall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Marshall drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Marshall as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Raza screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Marshall! Nice submission victory there!
