Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonathon Alvarado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Golden misses
and Alvarado counters by clinching up.
Alvarado breaks the clinch.
Golden shoots for a takedown but Alvarado saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Golden darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Golden looks winded!
Alvarado is looking to escape.
Golden is trying to control the action in half guard but Alvarado is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Golden throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Alvarado tries to bum rush Golden with a series of wild strikes but Golden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As Alvarado backs off Golden throws a huge counter combo but Alvarado manages to avoid it all.
Golden dives in and grabs Alvarado's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alvarado pushes down on Golden's head and hops out.

Alvarado is looking to counter the offense by Golden and move into the clinch.
Dennis Golden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alvarado will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Alvarado has Golden pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Golden manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Golden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alvarado manages to avoid it.
Alvarado shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Golden eats them both and turns towards Alvarado to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sloppy strikes from Golden. Those never looked like landing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Golden takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Golden pushes Alvarado up against the cage in a clinch.
