PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaun Xol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Choker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Surrender kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaun Xol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Choker!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xol fails to land the takedown.
Xol shoots for a double leg takedown but Choker sprawls well. He's pushed Xol's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Choker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Xol's guard.

Choker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Choker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Xol looking for a sweep. Not yet Xol, not yet.
Choker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Xol wants to sweep here but Choker controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xol knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Choker on the ground.
Xol wants to stand up but Choker is controlling him.
Xol might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Choker clinches up with Xol and pushes him back against the cage.
Choker prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaun Xol. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Choker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Xol clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Choker scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Xol is looking for a way out.

Choker working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Xol is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Choker has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Xol taps out!
