Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Carmody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roderick Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugo Carmody!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roderick Solo!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Carmody lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carmody swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Solo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Carmody lands a leg kick that knocks Solo off balance momentarily.
Solo throws a solid leg kick but Carmody takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Solo.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carmody lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Solo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Solo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Carmody throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Solo now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Carmody goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Solo in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Solo cracks Carmody with a hook to the temple - Carmody is on wobbly legs here! Solo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Carmody falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Solo wins by TKO!
