The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balak scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Balak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Balak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Edgar, who protects the arm well.

Balak swings around for an armbar but Edgar sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Balak's guard.

Balak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Edgar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Edgar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Balak pushes a forearm under Edgar's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Edgar is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
