Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Huginius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Huginius is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a wild combination.
Huginius steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Black.

Black is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Huginius's half guard.
Huginius felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Black is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Black breaks from Huginius's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Black pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Black has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Huginius's face.
Huginius tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
