The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

An attempted straight right counter from Chandler misses the target.
Page lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Page throws a low kick but it's checked well by Chandler.
Page connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Page appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Chandler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Page was well out of range. Poor timing from Chandler.

Chandler cracks Page with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chandler tries to move into range but Page moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Page walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chandler checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Chandler seems to have got his legs back now.
Chandler fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Page has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Chandler moves out of range of the strikes.
Chandler throws a shot from downtown. Page moves away and avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Page on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Page unleashes a big counter combination but Chandler bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Chandler uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Page blocks a low kick nicely.

Page throws a lazy right hand but Chandler sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcus Chandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Chandler.

Whack! Page lands a heavy head kick that drops Chandler. The ref tackles Page to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Chandler was done.
