Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Davie Joyce!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt misses with a two punch combination.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joyce has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Joyce misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Joyce.
Joyce lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunt circles away quickly and effectively.
Hunt throws an overhand right that lands on Joyce's shoulder, as Joyce tries to avoid the shot.
Nice body punch from Hunt.
Joyce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunt cracks Joyce with a right hand to the side of the head.
A jab from Joyce misses.
Joyce uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hunt.
A little jabbing left from Joyce on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hunt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joyce moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt lands with a shot to the body.
Joyce ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt avoids the body shot from Joyce.
Joyce on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Davie Joyce has been cut.
Hunt jabs Joyce to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Joyce looks to land a combination but Hunt avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joyce fails to land with a series of punches.
Hunt punishes Joyce's body with a nice straight punch.
Joyce looks winded!
Hunt lands a nice looking body shot.
Hunt scores with a body shot.
Hunt pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Joyce back to the cage. Hunt follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Hunt lands with a shot to the body.
Joyce gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Joyce tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Hunt is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Joyce buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Joyce!! Joyce is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Hunt throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fedor Hunt!
