Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael MT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny McLager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rafael MT has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rafael MT seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLager tries for a takedown but MT sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

MT clinches up with McLager and pushes him back against the cage.

MT breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

MT moves into range and clinches up with McLager.

McLager is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McLager cracks MT with a big right hand but MT just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
MT is working to avoid the ground and pound but McLager connects with a decent elbow.
MT is looking to regain half guard here but McLager keeps moving and retains side control.

McLager might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control MT kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
