The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
uno fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vasquez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
uno tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vasquez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Vasquez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
