Gloom connects with a high kick.
Riccuito throws a leg kick
and Gloom counters with a single leg into guard. Riccuito didn't expect that.
Riccuito manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Gloom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Riccuito tried to score with a low kick but Gloom checks it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Gloom decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Riccuito's guard.
Gloom drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Riccuito dives on top into guard.

Gloom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riccuito doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Riccuito manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
