The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scassamaroni throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Phillips shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scassamaroni but Scassamaroni pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scassamaroni tries to bum rush Phillips with a series of wild strikes but Phillips uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
