PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rip Snorten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Bradstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Snorten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Learn to fly. Rip Snorten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snorten throws a lazy right hand but Bradstone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Snorten pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bradstone with the counter takedown but Snorten avoids it easily.
Bradstone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Snorten.
Bradstone throws a leg kick that is checked
and Snorten counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Snorten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Snorten walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bradstone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snorten stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snorten escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bradstone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Snorten crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bradstone - the referee stops the clock and Snorten gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bradstone. Snorten manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
