PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gorb Jorbly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onoso Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorbly comes to the cage accompanied by The Mango song. Onoso Jensen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jorbly.
Jensen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jorbly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jensen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jorbly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jensen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Jorbly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jorbly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jensen tries to land a knee to the head but Jorbly blocks with his arms.

Jorbly manages to break the clinch.
Jorbly misses with a jab, cross combination.
Despite the aggression on Jensen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Jorbly pushes Jensen up against the cage in a clinch.
Jensen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jorbly just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jorbly has clasped his hands together around Jensen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jensen is trying to buck Jorbly off.
Jorbly is looking to take a break and control but Jensen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee asks Jorbly politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jorbly prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jorbly is looking to take a break and control but Jensen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jorbly fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jensen sprawls well initially but Jorbly persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jorbly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jorbly has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jorbly controlling the pace for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jorbly tries to control but Jensen wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Jorbly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jorbly shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Jensen has one foot on Jorbly's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jorbly tries to keep at a distance but Jensen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jensen lands a nice elbow.
Jensen jumps guard but Jorbly turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jorbly can't get the takedown.
Jensen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jorbly smiles and moves away.

Jorbly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jorbly is trying for a kimura here. Jensen looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Jorbly wins by kimura!
