Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukeva Tutka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu: Vai Finaliza!. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ramon Gracie!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lukeva Tutka!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Tutka. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Gracie throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gracie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tutka.
Gracie tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tutka manages to circle out of the way.
Tutka lands a head shot.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tutka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tutka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gracie feinted with a counter takedown.
Gracie looks to land a body kick but Tutka moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tutka just misses with a punch to the body.
Gracie tries to counter with a takedown but Tutka is quick to defend against it.

and Tutka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Ramon Gracie has been cut.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tutka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tutka tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie fails to advance to Tutka's back.
We've been hearing that Gracie has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Tutka is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.
Tutka wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gracie.

Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tutka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tutka can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but Tutka doesn't allow it.
Gracie looking to control but Tutka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Tutka holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Gracie tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Gracie throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Tutka stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Gracie moves to the back position.

Tutka defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Gracie's arms.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tutka is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Gracie working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Tutka looking very determined here, making life difficult for Gracie.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie controls the position.
Tutka prevents Gracie from getting a body triangle.
Tutka felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Tutka defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Gracie's arms.
Tutka is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Gracie off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Gracie is looking for the choke from the back position but Tutka is controlling his hands well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tutka tries to roll but Gracie sticks to his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Tutka misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tutka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It seemed like Tutka was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tutka scores with a jab. Gracie acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tutka avoids the head kick by Gracie.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tutka, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tutka cracks Gracie with an open hand slap.
Tutka checks a low kick from Gracie.
Tutka looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gracie has Tutka up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tutka tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gracie's elbow.
Gracie tries to break free but Tutka pushes him back against the cage.
Tutka fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Gracie decides to pull guard.
Tutka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie is controlling Tutka's posture.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Tutka pushes his legs off easily.

Tutka has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tutka is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put Tutka to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ramon Gracie!

Ramon Gracie seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Lukeva Tutka was interviewed post fight and said 'Aww sh*t. I guess I have to stop doing blow and hookers and start to actually train for my fights... :E'.
