Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Filippo Di Vaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coming home -Dirty money kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Di Vaio misses with a low kick.
A head kick misses from Di Vaio.
Di Vaio looks to score with a jab to the body but Hopkins is just out of range.
Di Vaio backing away here, and Hopkins unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Hopkins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hopkins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Di Vaio explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Alex Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins throws a nice looking combination but Di Vaio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
As Hopkins backs away, Di Vaio returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Di Vaio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Di Vaio misses with a straight right.
Hopkins keeps the fight on the outside.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hopkins! But no joy.

and Di Vaio counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hopkins is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Di Vaio decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hopkins, up you get!
