Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuncay Pekkan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pekkan has chosen DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkan clinches.
Yates tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pekkan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pekkan tightens his grip and picks Yates up, before dumping him to the ground. Yates manages to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pekkan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pekkan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Yates gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Yates is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yates is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Yates has Pekkan pulled in close to control his posture.

Pekkan is pushing down on Yates's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yates is fighting to maintain full guard but Pekkan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pekkan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yates swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yates is looking to stand up but Pekkan isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Pekkan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yates is trying to defend but Pekkan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Pekkan decides to stand and escape the position.

Yates manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pekkan manages to get himself to full guard.

Pekkan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yates does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pekkan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yates is just riding it out for now. Pekkan eventually gives up the hold.
