Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corky Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamaul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Page napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Page bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Page looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Page tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
A nice side step and Jones releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Page.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Page tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jones is trying to improve his position.

Page working the body and head with strikes.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Page. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Page controlling the position from side mount.
Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Page content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Page tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Page has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Page trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
Page working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Page lands a few punches from side control.
Jones is letting Page control him for a moment.
Jones tries to buck Page off but Page is having none of it.
Page looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Page smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jones is trying to escape the position but Page is controlling the position.
Jones is trying to control Page's posture but Page avoids it.
Page is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Page content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Page stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Page tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Page's guard.
Page is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Page looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Page is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Page looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Page shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Page sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard.
Jones is looking to improve his position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Page tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Page is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Jones is looking to control Page's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Jones is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Page is staying active.

Page seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
Jones manages to get to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Page working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Page slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Page is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Page has managed to sneak the leg through.
Page drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.

Page decides to stand up.

Page looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jones!
Jones is breathing heavily.

Page is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jones is trying to escape and Page transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jones is forced to tap! Nice work there by Page! Very nice indeed!
