The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat drops Mcfarland with a beautiful combination! Mcfarland stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sagat is looking for the KO!
It looks like Garland Mcfarland has been cut.
Sagat throws a low kick but Mcfarland moves out of range easily.
Sagat has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sagat there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sagat throws a front kick that sends Mcfarland stumbling back into the cage.
Sagat lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sagat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mcfarland manages to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcfarland fails with the takedown
and Sagat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mcfarland is rocked!
Sagat fakes the body blow, causing Mcfarland to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Mcfarland goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
