Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Loredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Garrett Ferguson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Loredo.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
Ferguson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Loredo is able to avoid easily.
Loredo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Loredo looks to land a right hand but Ferguson moved out of range.
Loredo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ferguson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ferguson takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Loredo throws a front kick aimed at Ferguson's knee but Ferguson avoids it well.
Loredo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ferguson thinks about countering with a head kick.

Ferguson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ferguson is looking to clinch but Loredo is avoiding it.
Loredo thuds a left hand into Ferguson's body.

Loredo stalks Ferguson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ferguson's face. Ferguson staggers backwards, shaken.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Oooooh!!! Loredo has knocked Ferguson down with a huge combo! Loredo steps away and waves a wobbly Ferguson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Garrett Ferguson has been cut.
