Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Mane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Mane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Nguyen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alberto Mane!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen moves into the clinch.
Nguyen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mane regains guard immediately.
Nguyen looking to sit in guard and control but Mane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nguyen looking to control.
Nguyen keeping full guard, as Mane tries to pass.
Nguyen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Nguyen.
Mane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nguyen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nguyen is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mane tries to score with some ground and pound. Nguyen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Nguyen on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Mane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nguyen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nguyen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mane is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nguyen is trying to escape and Mane transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nguyen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mane! Very nice indeed!
