Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Degrizz misses the jab.

and Degrizz counters with a thumping low kick.
Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Degrizz.
Degrizz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Degrizz throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Silva throws a right hand that Degrizz ducks under and follows up with a left that Degrizz also avoids with ease.
Degrizz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Degrizz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Degrizz throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dante Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva slips a straight right by Degrizz.
Silva tries to bum rush Degrizz with a series of wild strikes but Degrizz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dante Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Degrizz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva scores with a punch to the head.
Silva slips under a jab.
Degrizz throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.

Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Degrizz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Degrizz throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.

It looks like Jim Degrizz has been cut.
Degrizz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rape Academy (7 elite, 6 2x elite) in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva looks to land a combination. Degrizz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Silva throws an off balance right hand
and Degrizz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Degrizz takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Silva takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Degrizz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Degrizz misses with a straight right.
Silva looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Silva cracks a nice hook into Degrizz's ribs.

Silva cracks Degrizz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Degrizz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Silva finish him?

Degrizz is rocked!
Degrizz is aggressively charging in as Silva backs up avoiding any damage. Silva tosses out a jab and Degrizz runs right into it face first! Degrizz is out cold! Silva dropped down on all fours and is barking in Degrizz's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

A less than humble Dante Silva misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
