Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Oppelaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Oppelaar has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Charles Barkley's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Barkley!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Oppelaar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oppelaar.
Oppelaar is looking to clinch.

Barkley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oppelaar's guard.
Barkley tries to free his leg and advance position but Oppelaar is retaining full guard.
Oppelaar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Barkley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oppelaar is trying to maintain the position but Barkley is very close to passing his half guard.

Oppelaar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barkley has picked Oppelaar up and slammed him! Oppelaar can't keep hold of the triangle and Barkley manages to pass to side control!
Oppelaar felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Barkley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barkley goes for a takedown attempt but Oppelaar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Oppelaar lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Barkley falls backwards - clearly groggy! Oppelaar dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
