Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ralph Yates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Izen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates fails to land the takedown.
Yates feints and as Izen raises his hands in defense, Yates changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yates has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Yates throwing strikes but missing.
Yates controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Izen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Izen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yates's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Izen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Izen is stalling in the full guard.
Yates knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Izen on the ground.
Yates has his foot on Izen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Izen works his way back into a safe position though.

Izen postures up.
Yates wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Izen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Yates is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Izen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Yates isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Izen stacks Yates on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Izen!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Izen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Izen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yates looks calm but he's in trouble here. Izen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yates is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Izen lets go of the hold and Yates can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wayne Izen!
