The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kives fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fredriksson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kives.
Kives tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fredriksson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kives shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fredriksson's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kives is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters circle, before Fredriksson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kives's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Fredriksson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
