Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jumbo Nads!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nads is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nads shoots for a double leg takedown but Thomas sprawls well. He's pushed Nads's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A jab from Nads misses.
Nads shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Thomas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nads is looking for a sweep. Thomas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Thomas throwing shots but Nads is blocking nicely.
Nads won't allow Thomas to pass to mount.
Nads trying to get back to full guard but Thomas takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Thomas looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Nads wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Nads holding both Thomas 's hands and preventing any damage.
Nads manages to reverse the position and now he's in Thomas's guard. Nice work there by Nads.
Thomas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas is pulling down on Nads's head. It's preventing any offense from Nads, at least for the moment.
Thomas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nads!
Thomas trying to control but he's not successful this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Thomas prevents Nads from getting the reversal.

Thomas is working for a guillotine from mount but Nads frees his head quite easily.
Nads wants to control but Thomas is having none of it.

Thomas moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Nads has worked his arm free - good work by Nads!

Nads wants to control but Thomas postures up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Nads is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Nads tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Thomas easily slips into full mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nads wants to control but Thomas is having none of it.
Nads is desperately trying to improve his position but Thomas has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nads is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Thomas is trying to control the action in half guard but Nads is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nads tries to kick Thomas off but Thomas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nads wants to control but Thomas is keeping busy.
Nads has a hand on Thomas's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Thomas takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Thomas goes for an armbar but Nads turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nads.

Thomas is breathing heavily.

Nads cracks Thomas with a solid left hand.
Nads landing some decent shots from guard.
Thomas keeping moving, preventing Nads from controlling successfully.
Nads stopping the sweep attempt from Thomas.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Thomas has momentary wrist control but Nads slips an elbow through the middle.
Nads throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nads accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nads pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thomas is keeping the position for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Thomas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thomas.
Nads misses the jab.
Nads tries to clinch but Thomas moves out of range.
Nads is looking to clinch.

Nads takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nads misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomas.
Nads dodges the punch combination from Thomas.

Thomas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Thomas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nads tries to reverse the position but Thomas maintains control.
Thomas lands with some strikes.
Nads is looking to improve his position but Thomas isn't that keen on the idea.

Thomas wants to finish this one by submission but Nads is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thomas.
Thomas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nads is looking to escape.

Nads has given up his back here.
Thomas trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Thomas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nads kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nads can't escape the position.
Nads trying to get back to his feet but Thomas is in full control for now.
Nads trying to control the action but Thomas just sinks the hooks in.

Michael Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Nads takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Nads, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Nads against the cage but Nads circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas checks a leg kick.
Nads circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nads misses with a few strikes there.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nads as he jumps to the side.
Thomas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nads lands with a nice combination. Thomas backs away looking to recover.
Nads digs a good hook to Thomas's body.

and Thomas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Thomas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nads fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jumbo Nads has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Thomas.

Thomas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Nads lunges at Thomas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thomas's hand.

Thomas is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Nads has managed to free his arm - good work.

Nads tries to kick Thomas off but Thomas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nads is refusing to be controlled, as Thomas sits in half guard.
Nads is looking for a sweep. Thomas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Thomas seems to be looking for submissions.
Nads trying to control here.
Thomas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nads with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Thomas wants to clinch.
Nads works Thomas's body with a nice hook.
Nads is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
Thomas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Thomas avoids the head kick by Nads.

Thomas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nads manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nads wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thomas keeps working.
Jumbo Nads has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Michael Thomas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Thomas is looking to control Nads's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thomas avoid being mounted?

Michael Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
