PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Cudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cudi comes to the cage accompanied by King Wizard. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cudi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lowe punishes Cudi's body with a nice straight punch.
Cudi checks a low kick from Lowe.
Lowe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cudi.
Lowe throws a jab but it's blocked by Cudi.
Cudi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lowe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cudi's head.
Lowe avoids the head kick by Cudi.
Cudi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lowe.
Cudi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lowe. Lowe obviously looking to wear him down.
Lowe lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A shot to the liver by Lowe. Beautiful body shot.
Lowe slips under a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cudi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lowe moves away.
Cudi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lowe.
Cudi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lowe's waist but Lowe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cudi off to one side.
It seemed like Lowe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Cudi misses with the combination.
Cudi connects with the punch.
Cudi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cudi tries to counter with a takedown but Lowe is quick to defend against it.
Lowe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cudi manages to avoid it.
Cudi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lowe defends it nicely.
Lowe is looking for the big counter here.
Cudi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lowe. That one must have hurt.
Cudi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lowe throws a right hand that Cudi ducks under and follows up with a left that Cudi also avoids with ease.
Cudi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Cudi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lowe bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lowe throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lowe misses with a body shot.
Lowe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cudi.
Lowe swings for the body but Cudi moves out of range.
Lowe scores with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lowe thuds his right hand into Cudi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice cross by Lowe.
Lowe throws the kick towards the body but Cudi avoids it.
A little feinted left hand from Cudi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Lowe throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Cudi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lowe.
Cudi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lowe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A quick step to the side and Cudi tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cudi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lowe. That's going to slow Cudi down.
Lowe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cudi on the side of the head.
Lowe cracks a nice hook into Cudi's ribs.
A punch combination from Lowe misses.
Lowe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lowe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cudi.
Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cudi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lowe misses with a hook. Cudi ducked under it nicely.
Lowe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lowe dips to his left and cracks Cudi with an uppercut!
Cudi moves forwards but Lowe connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Cudi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lowe.
Lowe thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mike Lowe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lowe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cudi is rocked!
and Lowe counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Cudi! He's just covering up as Lowe starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

An out of breath Mike Lowe thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Kid Cudi stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck everybody up in this arena. Fuck you all.'.
