The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severino shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
maia tries to get to full guard but Severino has control of the leg.
maia works his way to full guard. Good work.
Severino trying to control the position from guard on top but maia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Severino wants to pass the guard but maia is keeping the position.
maia looking for a guillotine here but Severino defends easily.
Severino is pushing down on maia's leg trying to pass to half guard. maia is fighting to maintain full guard but Severino has managed to sneak the leg through.

Severino is looking to defend but maia has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Severino! maia pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Severino taps out and this one is all over!
