Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brock Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeah La (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyatt comes to the cage accompanied by Keep hold on. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

La shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wyatt's guard.

Wyatt pushes La off and scrambles back to his feet.
La misses with a straight left.
Wyatt throws a big counter combination but La scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
La is looking to clinch but Wyatt is avoiding it.
Wyatt lands a slapping body shot.
Wyatt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from La.
Wyatt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

La goes for a double leg but Wyatt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wyatt continues to drive forward.
La takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

La fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wyatt sprawls well initially but La persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

La stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wyatt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
La is fighting to break Wyatt's control of his arms but Wyatt is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wyatt seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jeah La seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
La throws the left hand but Wyatt avoids the punch easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! La crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wyatt - the referee stops the clock and La gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wyatt. La manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
