The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Digger is fending him off so far but Money persists. Nope, Digger circles away and we're back to standing.
Digger has his takedown stuffed

and Money counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Money controlling the pace.
Money is looking to advance position but Digger won't allow it.
Digger wants to get back to full guard.
Money lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Digger desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Digger is trying to control but Money passes into side control!
Digger can't do much from the bottom here.

Digger wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Money tries to advance to mount but Digger denies him.
Money working away.
Money staying calm.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Digger prevents Money from improving position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Digger throws a one two combo.
Digger misses with a series of wild punches.
Digger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Money changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Digger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Money tries for a kimura but Digger is defending well.
Money tries to move into full mount but can't pass Digger's legs.
Money trying to control the position but Digger is working away.

Money is working to tighten is grip on Digger's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Digger has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Money is really squeezing tight and eventually Digger passes out! Money breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
