The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers dives in and scores a takedown into Dancer's guard.
Dancer wants to stand but Rogers is controlling the position.
Rogers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dancer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rogers manages to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dancer looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogers wants to work for an arm triangle but Dancer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dancer tries to kick Rogers off but Rogers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rogers is figuring out what he wants to do next.
