The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenzie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Otiwato pinned against the cage. Otiwato gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Otiwato gets a clinch.

Otiwato works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Otiwato prevents Mckenzie from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mckenzie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Mckenzie scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Taylor Otiwato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mckenzie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Otiwato tries to counter it with a takedown but Mckenzie pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Otiwato throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mckenzie colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Otiwato as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mckenzie is left battered and dazed whilst Otiwato and his camp cheer!
