The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stronghold takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Andrew Giampa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Giampa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A punch lands to the side of Stronghold 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Giampa punishes Stronghold's body with a nice straight punch.

Giampa has Stronghold up against the cage in a clinch.
Giampa has Stronghold pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Giampa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stronghold tumbling to the mat - Giampa dives into Stronghold's guard.
Giampa tries to free his leg and advance position but Stronghold is retaining full guard.
Giampa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Giampa wants to control from the top but Stronghold keeps moving.

Giampa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stronghold paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Giampa moves into the clinch successfully.
Stronghold pulls guard successfully.
Stronghold keeping moving, preventing Giampa from controlling successfully.
Stronghold not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Stronghold has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Giampa doesn't defend quickly enough and Stronghold has managed to lock this one up! Can Giampa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Stronghold on a fantastic submission victory.
