Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

TupperIII working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sagat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sagat manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

TupperIII escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sagat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

TupperIII had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sagat defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Victor Sagat will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sagat pounces like a tiger and cracks TupperIII with a vicious hook! TupperIII is down but not out! Sagat follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
