Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Dastardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quentin Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ventura has chosen Way of Life as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dastardly wants to clinch.
Ventura looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Dastardly closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ventura's guard.

Ventura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dastardly defends well.

Ventura has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dastardly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ventura is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dastardly presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Dastardly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dastardly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ventura stands up from Dastardly's guard - Ventura perhaps looking for a knockout.

Dastardly tries to move to mount but Ventura blocks the move with his legs.

Ventura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dastardly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've been informed that Ventura has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ventura has one foot on Dastardly's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dastardly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dastardly throws a head kick that misses
and Ventura counters with a stiff right hand.
Dastardly tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ventura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A left and a right from Ventura both land. Nice combination.
Ventura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dastardly's waist but Dastardly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ventura off to one side.

Ventura pushes Dastardly off and gets back to his feet.
Ventura fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ventura scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ventura with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ventura throws a combination. Dastardly tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ventura throws a series of strikes that have Dastardly backpedaling.
Ventura fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dastardly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ventura connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dastardly momentarily.

Ventura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ventura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dastardly tries to avoid it but Ventura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dastardly to the ground. Dastardly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dick Dastardly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quentin Ventura.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Ventura connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Dastardly shoots in and gets a takedown into Ventura's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ventura has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dastardly should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ventura has tightened it up now! Dastardly should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
