Johnson comes into the arena with Dethklok - The Gears blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as statson gomez enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says gomez as he avoids it easily.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. gomez tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag gomez to the ground. gomez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.

gomez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. gomez showed some decent athleticism there.

gomez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. gomez eventually gives up the hold.
