The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with McGregor's head.
McGregor lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Despite the aggression on McGregor's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McGregor throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones clobbers McGregor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGregor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McGregor drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

McGregor is rocked!
McGregor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McGregor looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jones lands a right hand from hell, dropping McGregor. Jones pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
