The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

jensen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

jensen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Soko has escaped the position, nice work there.

jensen shoots in and bounces Soko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Soko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but jensen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Soko throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! jensen escapes and throws Soko's legs to the side, diving into side control!
