Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio El Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio El Toro!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

El Toro clinches up against the cage.
El Toro gets through Suri's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Suri working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Suri blocks an uppercut.

El Toro turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Suri can't do much from the bottom here.
Suri has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

El Toro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Suri stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Suri tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suri manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Suri is trying is best to control the position here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Suri manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

El Toro throwing strikes but missing.
El Toro won't allow Suri to sweep him here.
Suri preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
El Toro looking to sit in guard and control but Suri gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Suri slips nicely into half guard.
Suri with the ground and pound but El Toro uses the opportunity to regain guard.

El Toro looking for subs off his back but Suri has passed one foot through into half guard.

Suri wants to control but El Toro is keeping him busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

El Toro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Suri pulls his head out easily.
Suri is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

It looks like Julio El Toro has been cut.
Suri looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks El Toro with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

El Toro looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suri connects with a nice short shot to El Toro's temple.

That has opened up Julio El Toro's cut even more.
Suri missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Suri lands a nice short elbow.

The cut above Julio El Toro's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
El Toro is trying to control but can't.
Suri landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Julio El Toro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Julio El Toro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sher Shah Suri!
After the fight, Sher Shah Suri was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
