Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Burrito Kiwia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricki Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sutton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kiwia was covering up waiting for the punch and Sutton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sutton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sutton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kiwia is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sutton defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiwia striking off his back but it's not causing Sutton any problems.
Sutton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kiwia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kiwia tries to get out of the position.
Sutton throwing strikes from guard but Kiwia blocks nicely.

Kiwia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sutton throws a big right hand that misses.
Sutton trying to control the position from guard on top but Kiwia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sutton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sutton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sutton postures up in Kiwia's guard and throws a big left but Kiwia blocks it.
Kiwia has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sutton has passed into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kiwia is trying to work for a sweep but Sutton has mounted him!

Sutton is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kiwia is forced to tap! Great finish!
