Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshal Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshal Huber will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huber drives through and clinches with Hardy against the cage.
Hardy prevents Huber from breaking the clinch.
Hardy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Huber gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Huber wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Huber wants to break free but Hardy has control.

Hardy lands a takedown into guard.

Huber throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Huber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huber swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Huber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Huber looking for subs off his back but Hardy has passed one foot through into half guard.

Hardy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hardy trying to control the action but Huber is working from the bottom.

Huber looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hardy is keen to just control but Huber is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardy is trying to control the action in half guard but Huber is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Huber has his takedown stuffed

so Hardy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardy pushes down on Huber's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hardy is looking for a kimura here.
Hardy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Huber actively working from the bottom here.

Hardy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Huber defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison Hardy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Huber keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hardy looks to score with a jab to the body but Huber is just out of range.
Huber throws a jab when Hardy was well out of range.
Huber throws the left hand but Hardy avoids the punch easily.

Hardy drives through and clinches with Huber against the cage.
Huber wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hardy keeps control of Huber as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Huber is pressed up against the cage. Hardy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Huber down to the mat. Huber avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Huber clinches but Hardy breaks the clinch

and Hardy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Huber's guard.

Huber working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hardy has passed into half guard!
Huber is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huber is trying to control but can't.
Huber is breathing heavily.

Huber is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hardy pulls his head out easily.

Hardy seems to be working for a kimura but Huber defends the submission attempt.
Hardy is tying to control. Huber wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hardy is working for a kimura but Huber is defending it quite comfortably.
Hardy stalling.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Huber works the jab nicely.

Hardy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hardy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Huber is looking to escape.

Hardy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Huber can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hardy takes Huber's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Huber is in trouble.

Huber is in bad spot here.
A lull in the action here.
Hardy is trying to stick to Huber's back but Huber is turning into Hardy. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hardy's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Huber.
Hardy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hardy holds on and takes a little breather.

Huber drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hardy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hardy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hardy!
Hardy trying to control the position but Huber is working away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Huber tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Hardy takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Huber to pass into mount.
Hardy trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Huber is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hardy trying to control but Huber is having none of it.
Hardy controlling the position easily from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison Hardy dominated that second round.
That's time! Hardy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Huber avoids the body shot from Hardy.
Huber bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardy's head backwards.
Huber shoots and misses

and Hardy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Huber won't be happy with that.
Huber is trying to control Hardy's posture but Hardy avoids it.
Huber looking for a sweep but Hardy has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Huber is trying desperately to improve position.
Huber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Huber is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Hardy locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Huber is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Harrison Hardy!
