The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Markov.
Ali Raouff on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Markov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Markov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ali Raouff has time to react.
Markov fails to land the takedown.
Markov blocks a low kick nicely.
Markov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Markov tries a head kick but it misses.
Ali Raouff has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Markov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ali Raouff checks it well.

Ali Raouff drops Markov with a left and a right! Oh, Markov is hurt - Ali Raouff dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Vadim Markov has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ali Raouff takes a little break here. Markov wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Ali Raouff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ali Raouff postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Markov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ali Raouff.
Markov wants to get back to his feet but Ali Raouff is dominant here and he's now got Markov's back!
Markov just trying to survive but Ali Raouff is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Ali Raouff wants to control the position but Markov frees himself and scrambles - Ali Raouff manages to regain control in side control.
