Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand misses the shot to the body.
Rand has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A big right from Rand misses.
Rand keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rand misses with an uppercut.
Danny Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rand tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rand just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWu.
Rand throws a nice looking combination but Wu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rand misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wu is looking to counter the offense by Rand and move into the clinch.
Rand throws a hook but Wu avoids it easily.

Wu clinches with his opponent.
Rand tries to circle away but Wu has him pinned against the cage.
Rand wants to get back to striking at distance but Wu won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wu jumps guard and drags Rand to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wu is striking from the bottom but Rand uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Rand is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Wu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rand is working away from the top position though.
Rand lands strikes from half guard.
Wu tries to get to full guard but Rand has control of the leg.
Rand scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rand not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Rand tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Wu.
Rand lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rand is thwarting Wu's attempts to control the position.
Wu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rand gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Wu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rand paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rand fails in his attempt to clinch.

Danny Rand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wu scores with a one two! Rand had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rand loads up on a big right hand but Wu slips the punch.
Rand throws a lazy head kick
and Wu counters with a nice leg kick.

Wu drives through and clinches with Rand against the cage.
Wu has Rand pressed against the cage, preventing Rand from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Wu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rand throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rand throws a body shot but no joy.
Rand throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Wu counters with a left and a right that stings Rand.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wu or perhaps it was just good defense by Rand, which made it look bad.

Rand defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wu.
Rand misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wu feinted with a counter takedown.
Wu looks for a takedown but Rand sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pannah Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rand tries a head kick but it misses.
Rand throws a combination that misses
and Wu counters with a left and a right that stings Rand.
Wu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rand sprawls well. Rand wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wu gets slowly back to his feet.
Rand lands with a hook. Wu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rand shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wu eats them both and turns towards Rand to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wu is defended easily by Rand.

Wu shoots in looking for a takedown. Rand tries to sprawl out of it but Wu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rand manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rand is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rand swinging wildly here.
Wu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rand as he jumps to the side.
Wu avoids the head kick by Rand.
Rand is looking to clinch but Wu is avoiding it.
Wu tries to counter with a takedown but Rand is quick to defend against it.
Rand throws a lazy head kick
and Wu counters with a left and a right that stings Rand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Rand dominated that round.

Wu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rand's waist but Rand gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wu off to one side.

Wu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rand looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wu wants to control but Rand is keeping him busy.
Rand works his way to full guard. Good work.

Wu stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rand misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rand throws a sloppy head kick and Wu moves out of range easily.
Wu blocks a head kick by Rand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rand scores with a hook to the body. Wu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rand tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rand connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rand slaps away a takedown attempt from Wu, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rand pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Wu takes the fight into the clinch.
Wu tries to land knees in the clinch but Rand avoids the damage to the body.
Rand misses with a hook from the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Rand's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Wu manages to break the clinch.

Rand lands a left and a right that send Wu crashing to the mat, dazed. Rand thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rand throws a head kick that misses

and Wu counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wu manages to pull guard.

Rand stands and steps away. Wu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wu is defended easily by Rand.
Nice uppercut lands for Rand. That snapped Wu's head back.
Wu tries to close the distance and clinch but Rand swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rand feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wu sprawling to the canvas! Wu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rand finish him?!
Oh Wu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rand throws a series of punches but Wu avoids them all with ease.
Rand looks to land a left hand but Wu moved out of range nicely.
Rand throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Wu crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
