Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billie Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Kulik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dmitry Kulik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billie Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Kulik!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lang gets caught napping as Kulik dives in and scores a takedown. Lang manages to retain guard.
Lang wants to get back to his feet but Kulik is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lang controls Kulik momentarily but Kulik frees himself.
Kulik showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Lang really is a fat lump.
Kulik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lang swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kulik sitting in guard here, content to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kulik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulik tries to stand but Lang is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Kulik lands a big right hand that sends Lang crashing to the mat! Kulik stays standing though and waves Lang back to his feet!

It looks like Billie Lang has been cut.

Kulik tries to keep at a distance but Lang has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lang tries to pull guard but Kulik holds him up against the cage and eventually Lang drops back down to his feet.
Kulik has Lang pressed against the cage, preventing Lang from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lang tries for a takedown but Kulik manages to get underhooks.

Kulik turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Lang tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kulik tightening his grip on Lang, looking for the choke.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Lang's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kulik is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lang has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kulik has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lang taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kulik doesn't care though - he's delighted!
