I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vagner Love was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakoullis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Sotiris Kakoullis has been cut.
Love lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kakoullis's sensitive parts.
Kakoullis throws a good cross that connects.
A punch lands to the side of Kakoullis 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Love steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kakoullis.
Love is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kakoullis with a body shot.
Kakoullis misses with an uppercut.
Love chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kakoullis can pounce on him.
Love's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kakoullis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Love scrambles back to his feet.
We've been informed that Love has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Love tries to clinch there but Kakoullis circles away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Love, as that shot connected.
A head kick by Love - that's a beauty! Kakoullis is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Love can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
