Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ytlear has chosen Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Ytlear!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ytlear throws the left hand but Stevenson avoids the punch easily.
A swing and a miss from Stevenson.

Ytlear shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ytlear is looking to take a break and control but Stevenson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ytlear is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stevenson is just riding it out for now. Ytlear eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ytlear shoots in and drives through. Stevenson sprawls well.
Stevenson throws the left hand but Ytlear avoids the punch easily.
Stevenson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Stevenson.
Ytlear changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stevenson tries to avoid it but Ytlear manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stevenson to the ground. Stevenson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Peter Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Ytlear.
Stevenson throws the kick towards the body but Ytlear avoids it.

Stevenson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ytlear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ytlear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ytlear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stevenson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ytlear is one step ahead there.

Stevenson is looking to improve his position but Ytlear isn't that keen on the idea.
Stevenson tries to control Ytlear's body but Ytlear pushes him off. Stevenson squirms to his side and now Ytlear has his back!

Ytlear looking to break Stevenson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Stevenson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ytlear will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Ytlear has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Stevenson's body.

I would just about give that final round to James Ytlear.
I think Ytlear has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
