Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Meah Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg The Phenom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greg The Phenom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meah Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg The Phenom!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertson rushes The Phenom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The Phenom avoiding damage as Robertson throws knees to the body.
Robertson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but The Phenom has him pressed against the cage.
The Phenom is pressed up against the cage. Robertson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Phenom down to the mat. The Phenom avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The Phenom shoots in and bounces Robertson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The Phenom wants to control from the top but Robertson keeps moving.
Robertson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Phenom accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The Phenom seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The Phenom is looking for a kimura but Robertson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for The Phenom to get the leverage.
