The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Joyner enables Lefebvre to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Joyner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lefebvre is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lefebvre slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Joyner is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Lefebvre fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Joyner is trying to improve his position.
Lefebvre tries to move into full mount but can't pass Joyner's legs.
Lefebvre has hold of Joyner's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Joyner seems comfortable defending it but Lefebvre has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Joyner is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Joyner is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lefebvre couldn't care less - he's delighted!
