Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erick Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babis Valyras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babis Valyras will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valyras misses with a head kick.
Valyras throws a sloppy head kick and Gamble moves out of range easily.
Valyras shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gamble eats them both and turns towards Valyras to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A shot to the body from Gamble misses
and Valyras counters with a one-two to the body.
Valyras shoots in and gets a takedown into Gamble's guard.
Gamble scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Gamble tries to bum rush Valyras with a series of wild strikes but Valyras uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gamble. Valyras does a little dance to reset his feet.

Valyras throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gamble tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Valyras is in Gamble's guard.
Gamble is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Valyras dives into side control.

Valyras closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gamble kicks off Valyras and gets to his feet.
Gamble lands with a kick to the temple. Valyras shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Valyras has gone for a leg lock! Gamble slips out almost immediately though and dives into Valyras's guard.
Valyras really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gamble. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Valyras is breathing heavily.
Gamble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Valyras working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gamble, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
