Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danok Linus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Dee Penn!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Penn gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Penn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Penn looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Linus is trying to stand back up but Penn is controlling him

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Penn is pressing down on Linus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Linus is holding on for now.

Penn works to advance to full mount. Linus defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Penn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Penn passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Penn is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Linus's shoulder. That is not cool.
Penn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Linus wants to control but Penn postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Linus is controlling an arm, preventing Penn from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Linus wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Penn.

Penn is working for a guillotine from mount but Linus frees his head quite easily.
Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
